Calgary Fringe Festival 2009 Photography Competition
Theme: Seven Deadly Sins
(Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride)
Prizes (to be announced) will be awarded by a judging panel. Public voting will also be conducted by ballot during the exhibition and the winners of that competition will be listed on the Fringe Festival website. Twenty–eight submissions will be chosen for display.
The selected photographs will be displayed at a public gallery during the 2009 Fringe Festival (31 July—09 August) and at an outdoor exhibit during Bohemia 09 (01 August)
Image form and content is restricted only by your own imagination.
Requirements: Submit unmounted photographs to a maximum size of 10” x 16”. Selected submissions will be mounted for display on foam board by festival organizers. Please ensure the artist’s name, name of the photo, and artist’s contact information is included with each submission.
There are no restrictions on the number of submissions. Photos will not be returned at the end of the exhibition.

Workshops
Artistic Nude Master Class Workshops held every 6 weeks. Different genres, introduction, intermediate, natural light, studio shoots. Opportunity to learn while doing.
Competitions
Same location, same nude models, same day – only thing that changes is the photographers ability to capture the shot.
Location Shoots
Whether it be Devonian Gardens, Cathedrals or the top of the Calgary Tower, we set up locations, find the models – you come out and shoot.
Exhibits
We set up public viewings of the works created through the competitions and the workshops.

Some of the artworks presented on this web site were created from nude subjects. The work represents the various steps along the creative path and were created for the pure joy of accomplishment and enlightenment.
